Privacy policy

Your account information supports your use of YolLane.

Information we use

We store your account name, email, language, consent preferences, membership records, support conversations and lane submissions. Photos and lane coordinates you submit are available to you and authorized reviewers. Approved lane geometry may be displayed on the map.

Location and navigation

Location permission is optional and used for navigation when you enable it. Routing and map providers may receive the coordinates needed for your journey. We do not use navigation coordinates for marketing campaigns.

Optional analytics

Usage, diagnostics and navigation analytics each require your choice. Navigation analytics can include pseudonymous trip events, road travel times and coarse location grids. Precise GPS evidence requires a separate choice and encrypted storage, with a default 24-hour lifetime and a maximum of 72 hours. Other raw events default to seven days. Aggregate reports require at least five installations. We do not infer home or work locations or use navigation data for advertising. You can switch collection off and request deletion from privacy settings. Unlinked aggregate statistics may remain.

Payments and service providers

Epoint and its bank partners process web payments. YolLane does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. We keep payment references, amounts, subscription consent and protected saved-card tokens. Google handles Google sign-in; configured email and push providers deliver the messages you request.

Your choices

Marketing email requires a separate opt-in and includes an unsubscribe link. You can change optional email and push preferences in your profile. Security and billing messages remain necessary for your account. Use support to request a copy of your account information, corrections or account deletion. Records required for payments, disputes or legal obligations may need to be retained.

Cookies and security

Essential cookies maintain sessions and preferences. Optional cookie choices are separate from email consent. Access checks protect account records and private lane datasets. Information visible on a screen can still be captured; no website can make displayed content impossible to copy.
